A continuation of COMM 211 allows students further involvement in journalistic training and in the production of student literary ventures, such as the 2007 Yearbook and weekly/monthly articles. Exposure to forms of journalistic communication and practice through student publication of the 2007 yearbook is the primary goal. It is designed to introduce the student to the area of journalism characterized by discernment of appropriate yearbook content. Particular emphasis will be placed on page design, photograph filing, writing about contemporary college events, and appropriate advertising of the 2007 Yearbook. Strong Language Arts skills are highly recommended.
